"My 11-year-old daughter has been taking aerial and general circus classes from Katherine for five years and loves it more than anything else she does outside school. Katherine inspires a passion for the circus arts and is devoted to her students. She takes care of their safety, nurtures their confidence and is all-round excellent as a teacher and as a mentor. I highly recommend Circus Academy of Tucson for any young person interested in being active and expressive and for parents interested in offering their children an exciting and formative experience -- circus has been sustaining and invigorating for our whole family." -- Lydia M “The Circus Academy of Tucson has been a supportive, nurturing environment for my daughter for several years now. The artistry she’s developed is magical and it’s been a great way for her to stay in shape (talk about a whole body workout!). The regular opportunities to perform in public boosted her self-confidence and self-esteem. Socializing has never been her suit but the kids at circus are down-to-earth, creative, and friendly, which helped her fit in and feel at home. It’s all of these things that have kept us coming back for both summer and school year programs for over five years.” —Sarah W "The circus academy is one of my favorite places in Tucson! I love how circus combines artistry and strength training. The circus community here is really special, too- it's so welcoming! The instructors and the other students are super supportive and kind, and just the best kind of people. I've been doing aerials for 7 years. When I started I was a little nervous, because I had no experience and was starting well into adulthood, but I shouldn't have worried- the aerial curriculum is approachable, safety-conscious, and most of all fun at every level. I especially love exploring new apparatuses and performing with friends new and old!" Christine A I love taking classes at the Circus Academy! Katherine and all the instructors provide such a great environment that encourages creativity and exploration. I've especially loved joining the adult performance group and getting to create performances with such an awesome community. Charlotte Z

I absolutely adore the circus academy! I've been attending for a few years now, and it's one of my favorite places to be. The coaches are wonderful and overall the environment is amazing! The studio is such a safe space for me to learn and try new things, and I'm so grateful to have discovered the academy!

My daughter has been taking classes here for several months now and all I can say is we absolutely love the circus academy! This place is affordable and approachable...no need to spend gobs of money on recital attire, dance shoes, etc etc! The activities vary and keep the attention of little children, class sizes are small, instructors are professional and great with kids. They have classes for adults too. This place is a Tucson GEM...and I almost wanted to keep it a secret so classes stay small...but that wouldn't be fair to the amazing owner and staff💜 The space isn't glamorous and you may drive by and barely notice the building...but I can tell you...you will be impressed!

Circus can be for anyone! I starting practicing aerial silks about a year ago and have fallen in love with the activity. Small group classes for adults ensure everyone is getting the attention and coaching that they need, and the instructors work with your abilities to both help you improve and enjoy yourself.
